Good News: Two LVTC Programs Are Approved by the 2023 Guangxi Science and Technology Program

From News Center (Text and Photo by Liao Boguang, Scientific Research Division) According to the Notice on Issuing the Newly Approved Program of Science and Technology Plan Funds in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in 2023 (First Batch) (GKJZ [2023] No. 26) issued by the Science and Technology Department of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, the Preparation and Failure Analysis of Stellite Alloy Coating under Wide Temperature Range Service Conditions undertaken by Dr. Wen Junxia, School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering and the Basic Research on Compression Combustion Mechanism and Combustion Control of Natural Gas/PODE Reactivity Control undertaken by Professor Chen Hui of School of Automotive Engineering, were approved by the 2023 Guangxi Science and Technology Program-Guangxi Natural Science Foundation, with a total research funding of RMB 180,000.

This is the first time that LVTC has won the approval of two provincial and ministerial Natural Science Foundation Programs in the same year, marking a new landmark achievement in the construction of its National Double High-level Plan. This is a major achievement made by full-time scientific research personnel after LVTC arranged full-time scientific research posts. It also lays a solid scientific research foundation for the construction of LVTC's Double High-levels Plan.
