2022 Brand Building and Development Conference of Liuzhou Craftsman College Successfully Held in LVTC

At the event, Liang Richun, honorary president of LZCC, deputy director of the Standing Committee of Liuzhou Municipal People's Congress, deputy secretary of the Leading Party Members' Group, and chairman of Liuzhou Federation of Trade Unions, explained the brand-building theme of "Four-stage Craftsman" from four aspects including "building ingenuity, cultivating craftsmen, training talent and casting souls", and provided practical suggestions on the subsequent development direction of the college.

LVTC President Gan Jinming pointed out in his speech that he hoped that the conference could pool talent and wisdom to build LZCC into a comprehensive training base for high-skilled talent, a comprehensive service platform for skills competitions, and a comprehensive evaluation center for skilled talent with great influence in the region, thus jointly creating a new chapter for the high-quality development of Liuzhou's economy.

Participants observed the grand launching ceremony of the "Lifelong Learning Platform" of LZCC. As is reported, the platform, as an effective carrier to carry forward the craftsmanship spirit of Liuzhou and build a craftsmanship cultural brand and an important measure to promote the construction of the digital LZCC, will contribute more to exercising its role as the theoretical research think tank for the cultivation of high-skilled talent and cultivating more high-skilled talent that meets the development and needs of the times.

Besides, the Awarding Ceremony of the Member Units of LZCC Council, the Signing Ceremony of Liuzhou Model Workers and Craftsman Talent Innovation Studio Alliance, and the Appointment Letter-Granting Ceremony of the First Batch of Specially-Invited Skilled Experts and Teachers of LZCC were also held on the same day, and the units and individuals that have made outstanding contributions to the construction and reform of Liuzhou's industrial workers in the new era were commended.

It is reported that as of the end of 2021, the total number of skilled talent in Liuzhou had reached 595,300, including 127,100 highly skilled talent. As a new type of high-skilled talent training resource integration platform focusing on in-service employees of enterprises, LZCC, jointly initiated by the Liuzhou Federation of Trade Unions, Liuzhou Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, and LVTC, was established in May 2021. Its standing body is LVTC's School of Continuing Education, which specifically implements enterprise management, market-oriented operation, open education, joint competition running, and other related work. LZCC mainly undertakes the training and cultivation of technical and skilled talent for Liuzhou model workers, craftsmen, and industrial workers, playing an important role in improving the supply capacity and quality level of vocational skill training in Liuzhou, cultivating a number of leading skilled workers in the new era, and providing important talent for the high-quality development of Liuzhou.

In the future, LZCC will continue to deepen the reform of the team of industrial workers in the new era, innovate the mechanism of fostering high-skilled talent, strengthen the education and training of employees, and speed up the construction of a knowledge-based, skilled and innovative labor force, so as to provide skilled talent support and intellectual support for Liuzhou, which is expecting for quality and efficiency improvement and transformation and upgrading to be a modern manufacturing city and a trillion-yuan industrial city.
