First LiuGong Order Class of LiuGong-LVTC International Craftsmen College of Thailand Officially Begins

More than 30 people attended the online opening ceremony, including Dr.Tanyaluck Thanapakit, Director of Science and Technology Innovation Network Center of Panyapiwat Institute of Management (PIM), Dr. Poom Jatunitanon, Executive Director of Automotive Manufacturing Engineering Program of School of Engineering and Technology, Feng Heliu, Post-market Director of International Business Center of Liugong Machinery Co., Ltd., Xiang Dongsheng, Deputy General Manager of Machinery Asia Pacific Co., Ltd., Wei Lin, Vice President of LVTC, teachers of the Chinese Foreign Language Team and students of the first order class.

At the opening ceremony, the leaders reviewed the background and work process of the tripartite cooperation among LiuGong Machinery Co., Ltd., Panyapiwat Institute of Management and LVTC, and emphasized that the order class of International Craftsmen College of Thailand aims to provide tailor-made services for LiuGong Machinery Co., Ltd. in Thailand, distributors and the headquarters of LiuGong Machinery Co., Ltd., and provide excellent service and management talents for local employment opportunities in Thailand. Dr. Poom thanked LVTC for overcoming the difficulties brought about by the pandemic and providing online Chinese training, saying that Chinese learning is of great help to Thai students in their future study and internship in China, and encouraged students in the order class to study Chinese hard.

This activity is an important step in promoting the construction of International Craftsmen College of Thailand, and also the first course of the first order class for LVTC and LiuGong Machinery Co., Ltd. to jointly carry out overseas skilled talent training, which is of milestone significance. In the future, with the joint efforts of the three parties, the International Craftsmen College of Thailand will further integrate its resource advantages, continuously deepen cooperation and exchanges, and jointly create a model for China-foreign school-enterprise education cooperation projects in China-ASEAN vocational education.

It is reported that since December 2021, in order to meet the training and talent training needs of LiuGong Machinery Co., Ltd. in Thailand, LVTC has signed an agreement with LiuGong Machinery Co., Ltd. and Panyapiwat Institute of Management to jointly build the "LiuGong-LVTC Global Customer Experience Center in Thailand" and "Liugong-LVTC International Craftsmen College of Thailand", and jointly train technical and skilled talents of engineering machinery for LiuGong Machinery Co., Ltd. Overcoming the difficulties caused by the pandemic, in the first half of 2022, LVTC sent teachers to Thailand and completed the training and certification of six teachers from Panyapiwat Institute of Management. LiuGong Machinery Co., Ltd. has also completed the investment in the equipment of International Craftsmen College of Thailand, and the "LiuGong-LVTC Global Customer Experience Center in Thailand" has been completed and put into use. The first order class has started enrolling students. Thirteen students in the junior year of Panyapiwat Institute of Management have been selected to join the Order Training Program, and will start a half-year training and study at LVTC in June 2023. The Chinese Course is one of the training courses designed by the Tripartite Cooperation Program. It aims to enable students to have basic Chinese expression skills through teaching, and to communicate with Chinese teachers and students, enterprise leaders and employees without barriers when studying at LVTC and interning at the headquarters of LiuGong Machinery Co., Ltd. At the same time, through learning Chinese, they can learn more about China, about Liuzhou, about LiuGong Machinery Co., Ltd. and LVTC.
